Koppick Knob Bloodroot

One of my passions on Koppick Knob is identifying the wild flowers.  This passion has transcended to future generations.  There are so many vibrant, pristine colors to be seen in the woods and the fields.  This year marks many anniversaries.  We were very blessed to spend a special 85th Saint Patrick birthday hiking and visiting with four generations
The Bloodroot is appropriately named for the juice that will come out of the stem.  It has many uses but in large quantities is poisonous.
